Welcome!

Find My Voice through Writing is an exciting class offered at Catalina Magnet High School that offers international (refugee and immigrant) students a chance to develop their English language and writing skills.  Students have an opportunity to learn more about using technology for academic and professional life in this class.  Students also explore visual and media arts as tools to help in language development and writing work, as well as to enhance or expand their published work.  Finally, students engage in the real world, exploring issues of interest and importance to them and developing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they interact with a variety of people including peers, volunteers, and community leaders and share their voices!
